About
Wolverhampton racecourse at Dunstall Park is an all-weather Flat track and became the first floodlit racecourse in Britain in 1993. It races all year round, including many evening fixtures.
The Track & Course
The track is a tight, left-handed oval of about a mile on a Tapeta surface, with a short home straight. Being handy and drawn low is often a help, and horses held up at the back can struggle to get into the race.
Going & Ground
As an all-weather track, Wolverhampton rides consistently and races go ahead in most weather, which makes it a mainstay of the winter Flat programme.

The Lady Wulfruna Stakes is one of the course's feature races, and its frequent evening cards are full of competitive handicaps.
