Beverley is a long-established flat-only course in East Yorkshire, best known for one of the strongest draw biases in the country.
The Track & Course
It is a right-handed, undulating circuit with a stiff uphill finish and a famously testing five-furlong sprint track. In those sprints a high draw towards the stands rail is a major advantage, and the climb to the line rewards strong, galloping types over pure speed merchants.
Going & Ground
The ground is well-drained and often rides on the quick side through the summer, though the uphill finish always demands a stayer's attitude.

The Beverley Bullet is the headline sprint, run over the speed-favouring five furlongs at the August fixture.
