Francis Fraser has been fascinated by horse racing for as long as he can remember. Some of his earliest memories are of days at the races with his father, and later with friends. It was in his late teens that a passing interest turned into something closer to an obsession. He set about learning everything he could about the sport, from the form and the going to the breeding, the trainers and the markets, and he has been hooked ever since.

Why He Built This Site

Like a lot of punters, Francis learned some hard lessons early on. Chasing big returns, he opened accounts without properly checking who he was dealing with, and he paid for it with poor value, frustrating restrictions and clunky, badly built websites. Determined to do better, he set out to find bookmakers he could genuinely trust: operators running an honest, reputable and fully licensed business.

That research became the foundation of this site. Rather than keep the findings to himself, Francis decided to publish them, alongside the kind of insider knowledge he wishes he had been given when he started out.
