Wexford Racecourse Guide
About
Wexford racecourse in the south-east of Ireland stages both Flat and National Hunt racing, with meetings spread across the year.
The Track & Course
The track is a right-handed circuit with fairly sharp bends and a run to the finish that suits horses who can hold a good position. Handy, well-balanced horses often go well.
Going & Ground
The going varies with the season, from good in the summer to soft in the depths of winter.
Key Races
Wexford's cards are built mainly around handicaps, maidens and novice races, with summer evening meetings among the best-supported fixtures.
