British horseracing finally resumed in the UK at the weekend, and it was a worthwhile wait for jockey Oisin Murphy who claimed his first Classic win with Kameko. The 10/1 shot won by a neck over the Aidan O’Brien-trained Wichita (15-2), setting a new track record time of 1min 34.72 seconds. Heavily backed Pinatubo (5-6) finished third, one and a quarter lengths back.
